What Happens After I Make a Report?

At Adtalem Global Education ("Adtalem") our vision is to be the world's most extraordinary learning organization where students and colleagues thrive. As members of the Adtalem community, we, both students and colleagues have a shared commitment to maintain a safe and secure environment as well as an environment where doing the right thing and acting with integrity is what we do each and every day.

Our purpose in creating a Speak Up Program is part of our goal to deliver Adtalem CARE by providing students and colleagues with the opportunity to report concerns.  To enhance communication and empower you to speak up, you may use this system to report concerns about safety, ethical conduct, policy violations or illegal behavior.

Adtalem seeks to promote a culture where students and colleagues are comfortable raising concerns. Therefore, we do not tolerate retaliation against any students or colleagues who speak up in good faith. In situations where you prefer to place a report anonymously (to the extent allowed by local law), you are encouraged to use this system, which also provides confidentiality.

The information you provide will be sent to Adtalem by Convercent. Your confidential report will be reviewed, investigated, and acted upon to the best of our ability. If you provide an email address you will also receive email notifications from Convercent as the report status is updated.

Message from CEO Steve Beard

Dear students and colleagues,

Ethics, integrity, and our TEACH values are critical to everything we do. Here at Adtalem, we are focused on creating an environment where all students, colleagues, and visitors can be confident in our commitment to providing a healthy and safe workspace for all.

We strongly encourage all students and colleagues to use our ethics hotline to report any unethical behavior, concerns regarding workplace conduct, or violations of the Adtalem Code of Conduct or any other Adtalem policy. Every student and colleague has access to our Speak Up platform: you can call 1-800-461-9330 (U.S.), you can text 773-904-1074 (SMS North America) or you can file a report at www.speakupadtalem.com. Those outside of the U.S. may visit www.speakupadtalem.com for international dialing instructions in your preferred language.

If you choose, you may report anonymously and know that the Adtalem team will handle your concerns swiftly and professionally. In addition, Adtalem follows a strict non-retaliation policy, to ensure that any students or colleagues who bring their concerns to our attention do so without fear of reprisal.

Let’s continue to create an environment where our students receive a first-class education, our colleagues maintain a healthy and safe workspace, and we are proud of the education and training we provide to our communities.
